FutureWave IT - Terms of Service

Welcome to FutureWave IT (“FutureWave IT,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, training programs, services, content, communications, and related offerings (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing our website, enrolling in our programs, or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

1. Nature of Services

FutureWave IT is a healthcare IT and EMR training academy that provides educational programs, instructional materials, and scenario-based training focused on EMR/EHR workflows, including Epic-related modules.

FutureWave IT:

• Is not affiliated with Epic Systems Corporation or any EMR vendor

• Does not provide official Epic certification

• Does not guarantee employment, contracts, or job placement

• Does not provide medical, legal, or clinical advice
  

All training is educational and preparatory in nature.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to enroll in or use FutureWave IT Services. By enrolling, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

3. Enrollment & Payment

• Enrollment is confirmed only after successful payment or completion of an approved payment arrangement.

• Fees are clearly disclosed prior to purchase.

• Unless otherwise stated in writing, all sales are final.

• Refunds, if offered, are governed by the specific refund policy applicable to the program purchased.

Failure to complete payment may result in suspension or termination of access.

4. Training Format & Access

• Training may be delivered live, recorded, or a combination of both.

• Access to platforms such as Epic Playground or third-party tools is subject to availability and external provider policies.

• FutureWave IT reserves the right to update content, schedules, instructors, or delivery format as needed.
  

5. No Guarantees or Placement

FutureWave IT does not guarantee:

• Employment or consulting contracts

• Income, earnings, or career outcomes

• Epic certification or vendor-issued credentials

Success depends on individual effort, background, market conditions, and external factors beyond our control.

6. Intellectual Property

All content provided by FutureWave IT - including videos, documents, slides, scripts, templates, and recordings - is the exclusive intellectual property of FutureWave IT.

You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, distribute, resell, or share materials

• Record live sessions without written permission

• Use materials for commercial purposes without authorization

Violation may result in termination and legal action.

7. Code of Conduct

Participants agree to:

• Act professionally and respectfully

• Avoid disruptive, abusive, or inappropriate behavior

• Refrain from misrepresenting training as official Epic certification

FutureWave IT reserves the right to remove participants without refund for violations.

8. Communications & SMS

By enrolling or submitting forms, you consent to receive communications via email, SMS, or phone related to:

• Enrollment

• Training updates

• Class reminders

• Support and correspondence

You may opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP. Message and data rates may apply.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Services are provided “as is” and “as available.”
FutureWave IT makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FutureWave IT shall not be liable for:

• Indirect or consequential damages

• Loss of income, business, or opportunities

• Decisions made based on training content

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific program.

11. Termination

FutureWave IT reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for:

• Violation of these Terms

• Non-payment

• Misuse of materials

• Disruptive or unethical behavior
  

12. Privacy

Use of our Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines how personal data is collected and used.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

14. Changes to Terms

FutureWave IT may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
